Low Self Esteem

Low Self Esteem

Negative experiences in life can have an impact on how you view yourself  leading to low self esteem, crucially, experiences early on in life can lead you to believe things as fact but actually they are just opinions and as such it is within each of us to change our way of believing.

For example if at school you were continually taunted as Fatty Fatty you begin to believe it and the more it is said the more ingrained it becomes and even if you change your eating habits and become an anorexic those beliefs that you are fat remain in your head.

But by changing the way you think about yourself can change your beliefs – it can be hard work but it is possible to change…

The same can be done with confidence issues, feeling unlovable, unhappy with the way you look, feeling not “good enough” be it at school or as a parent
